The name REBEL already hints at its unique features. The first one is that it can be unscrewed in an original way, never used before. This is made possible by one of the spikes, which can be unscrewed along with part of the ball's shell. The second unique feature is the size of the ball and its inner cavity. It is record-breaking in terms of both its overall diameter and internal storage space. For comparison, the ORIGINAL hedgehog in a cage, which has the largest ball to date, has a diameter of 22.5 mm and an internal space with a diameter of 17 mm. In contrast, the REBEL hedgehog ball has an impressive diameter of 30 mm with an internal diameter of 28 mm! The original design requires more space for the internal and external threads, as well as for overall strength. This new ingenious design does not require this. It was first successfully tested on the oversized Hedgehog in a Cage Max. A big surprise is the Flying Wheel plan inside, which you will find here in an incredible A4 size! (normally it is in smaller A5).

"Eight years ago, a young man asked me if an engagement ring would fit inside the hedgehog's cavity, because he wanted to propose to his girlfriend in this way. Unfortunately, I had to disappoint him at the time. But maybe that sparked my idea to make such a Hedgehog. Now I could tell him that it would work, because several rings can fit into the cavity! The entrance diameter is 21 mm," adds Radek Micopulos, designer.

The third great feature is the wider cage wall, which is 3 mm thick instead of the usual 2 mm. This gives the entire puzzle a much more robust feel. It weighs more than a quarter of a kilogram in total, or 276 g to be precise, which is 100 g more than the stainless steel ORIGINAL! The last feature directly related to the puzzle is the materials used. The all-stainless steel cage made from a single piece of material is complemented by brass plugs that complete the rounded shape of the cage and refer to the first Hedgehogs with brass joints on the cage. This also gives the puzzle a more luxurious look. The chrome-plated ball has a total of 12 stainless steel conical spikes, which are enlarged to a base diameter of 6 mm.

The icing on the cake of this beautiful hedgehog is its packaging. This hedgehog can also be given as an experience! It comes in an original tin can, which must be opened with a pull-tab lid (similar to cans of nuts, etc.), which further enhances the uniqueness of such a gift. The recipient has no idea what is inside, and after opening the tin, they will find a new, amazing-looking drawstring bag with the embossed logo of the original Czech puzzle manufacturer RADEMIC PUZZLES. After tearing off the lid, which also contains the signature of the puzzle's designer, you will be left with another lid for normal closure.
